Artisan Spotlight: Mother’s Day Cooking Demo & Tasting with The Southern Conserve

To mark this momentous occasion, we are delighted to kick off our initiative with an exclusive tea tasting experience led by esteemed local artisan tea-maker, Wayne Ashford. For over 2 decades the founder of the original Tea’s Me Cafe Indianapolis, IN and owner of Ashford Tea Company Savannah, GA, has guided and educated tea enthusiasts and novices alike on Living Life To The Tea. Delight your senses with a specially curated selection of teas, including signature blends inspired by the rich history of the Davenport House Museum.

Valentine’s Day Weddings

February 14, 5:00pm-7:00pm

Looking for a romantic way to spend this Valentine's Day? Come tie the knot in the beautiful Davenport House Museum Garden!

This year marks our 17th consecutive year of offering couples a convenient, romantic, and budget-friendly way to celebrate their love on the most romantic day of the year. Weddings occur every 15 minutes from 5:00m-7:00pm. A $100 donation will secure a timeslot in our lineup of micro weddings and vow renewals. Ceremonies will be conducted by Sheena Fulkerson, an ordained minister and our Museum’s Tour and Wedding Coordinator. Couples can bring up to eight guests to witness their special moment. Valid marriage licenses are required in advance.

Holiday Traditions Tours

November 18 - December 30

Step into the engaging world of 19th-century holiday traditions at the Davenport House this winter season. Whether you're a history enthusiast or seeking a unique and illuminating way to celebrate the holidays with your family and friends, our holiday tours will share time-honored as well as lesser-known holiday traditions celebrated by the Davenports and their contemporaries. All tours from November 18 - December 30 will share our holiday interpretation of the house.

Yuletide Tours

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Step back in time this holiday season at the Davenport House Museum! Explore 19th-century holiday traditions with a tour through our beautifully decorated historic house. Afterward, enjoy cider and cookies in our lovely garden. Join us for a unique holiday experience! Reserve your spot now.

Admission is $35 per person for this event

Tours begin at 6:00pm and depart every 15 minutes until 8:00pm.


Holiday Family Day

Join us for a fun-filled Family Day at the Davenport House Museum! Bring your loved ones for an exciting day of family-friendly tours and holiday crafts. Explore our historic house with engaging tours suitable for all ages, and then get creative with holiday-themed crafts. Don't miss this special day of education and enjoyment. See you there!

Family Day tours and crafts are free with regular tour admission and will run from 1:00pm until 4:00pm on Saturday, December 9th.
